Got some new parts for the turbo conversion =P

So there's a 13 row oil cooler with AN10 connectors. Turbosmart bov and boost gauge. Oil filter sandwich adapter with thermostat attached to Ford motorsport 90deg oil filter adapter.

And hopefully that adapter fits between the engine and frame. There should be just enough space if my calculations are correct

Not trying, keeping it I don't mind if the turbo peeks a bit through the grill tho. Which is actually most likely to happen.

Decided to fit the oil cooler. I made the brackets from a junk stainless steel sheet that I found from the garage. Several hours later the cooler fit like a glove

I relocated the oil pressure hose from the block to the sandwich plate to free up some space for the turbo. As you can see the oil cooler hoses hung quite low, actually those are in the same level as the oil pan. I really would like to get those higher but there just weren't any space in any other angle.

I shedded some weight by changing the battery to a smaller one =P

And I also started making the turbo manifold. it's just somehow tacked together and will require a lot of grinding and welding and grinding before it's done.

Yeah, I'm fully aware of that. I've got an old sump guard that I've made many years a go. I'll see if it can be modified to fit so that it would cover the hoses. I just haven't had a chance to do it yet.

When you manage to hit those hoses you got a serious problem and not only with the hoses

I found a picture from '09 of my sump guard

It's clearly too short to cover the hoses so it'll need some major work to fit.

Dennis: yeah, I'm not too fond of instant oil drain on the road

I couldn't get the old sump guard to fit so I rerouted the hoses. Now those are few centimeters higher than before.

Also, I've been working the turbo manifold. Oh man, does that take some work. Parts are just tacked together and already found out that I need to redo and rethink few things as it'll be a tight fit.

Nope, idea is to use standard intake with 45mm TB from MG.

Marcus: yes, if I remember correct
