Cheers for that Andy.

Could you please PM me his contact details as I am unable to find them on the Auto66 website.

EDIT: I think I may have found it in the back of the blue book

I've finally got the back wheels on mine. Just got to refit the drivers seat, get the rear tracking done then tart it up a bit, should be about ready tomorrow.

OK so I still need a propper test, but the cheap silverline analogue thing claims to be accurate to within 2dB's so it's looking promising.
Andy when you get noise tested tell them your max revs are 5700rpm and you will get tested at around 3600rpm when you pass ask if it passed easy then if its ok you can rev a bit more next time.
Dont tell anyone about this it may be cheating
Allan
Ps mine is ok Now

my brother has just been to florida and brought me a litre back, it's better than JD. Cant get too bad though cos i've gotta get the car finished tomorrow. I've put those 130lb springs on the back and it seems quite soft to me, i hope i can stifften it up on the shocks.

Nothing worse than a spongy back end

IMHO 150lbs+ are needed on the heavier Minis. As you know I fitted 175lbs at the back of mine, but I got them cheap on the bay.
