If you can trailer it along to Barkston over the weekend there will be lots of willing helpers I'm sure and then you can "test" it up and down the Taxiway once you ask and grovel to the great Clerk of the Course.
Plus we tend to have a social evening on the Saturday if you don't mind mixing with some people who keep on going on about why they were not very quick, if you get it sorted you could have a go at the 1/4 mile sprint we are having

I don't know how to spell "Winging" I can say it and I hear a lot of it from the Mini lot during the brief and from the marshals after you drive past the 3rd Red flag but it is an odd word to spell

So if ......

Winging is performed by RAF types in the local hanger.

Then

Dogging is performed upon man's best friend by their owners in the local kennels

and

Brumming is performed by keen petrol heads at the local 'filling' station.

Enjoy the upcoming double header you brum-boys.

Surely there is more than 5 Mini's this weekend? What happened to the good old days when you lot were top club.
With so few entries 8 in all so far, I cannot see Barkston surviving much longer, that would be sad
See you there

Very sad state of affairs, what happened to all the other cars that used to turn up? I guess its probably partly the disrupted season but mainly folks are being thrifty .

Even our little Mini troop stopped racing at the MSA events a couple of years back, but that was always meant to be a temporary blip ....... for me it's become more of a permanent blip

Looks like it's time to take up knitting .... fishing .... or golf.

Don't give up on us just yet Bill. The metro van is long gone, but my mini will hopefully be done in the next month or so. I plan to attend a few of these events next year.
