Not had any problems with conventional grounding....

Not had any problems with conventional grounding. Used both Honda 'multi-wire ground blocks' around the engine bay, bolted to the frame. Gearbox and camcover straps too.
Battery grounded to the boot...

The simple rule to aim for is - keep the wheel offset as close as possible to the standard road car that the subframe came from. Once you can acheive that, you can then juggle with tyre widths and...

Yes, new belt in 2009, then new belt last September - car has done about 15k in that time.
I'm just of the opinion that products like cambelts, tyres, rubber bushes etc. degrade over time

Would require a reworking of the engine mount braces, and manufacturing a quality jig, but still makes economical sense, and retains all the plus...

The access hole for the front bolt is about 40mm square, located where the rail curves up to meet the front crossmember - it may have tape over it.
