Yeah I'm surprised it didn't break in half. The 4 flute sills are mk1 to early mk3 so are what it would have had originally anyway but yes they are a nice detail

my subframe is powdercoated, it was an old subframe that was sandblasted then powdercoated and has been on the car for 4 years on the road all year round, i have just removed it to work on the sills...

I need the rear seat belt mountings which are welded on to the rear wheel arches in the rear pockets on the later minis (with inertia reel rear seatbelts - mpi and spi i think). I can't find them new...
