Mark mine is the 1.6 16v but not on with it for two month or until I finish the van. Burnard is right it does have to have that front bar changed on the sub frame. The exhaust manifold is very tight...

Are you running mgf everything ie engine clocks other wise it won't work the steering column as own ecu but it also require a signal from the engine to tell the ecu that it is running speed control...
