if its a honda, stock ecu and hondata or a harness adapter and an ecu that has hondata. its really a no-brainer for hondas tbo.

if the engines standard just keep the stock ecu as it is.

the proper way is to replace the bearing (as removal of the drive flange WILL trash the bearing) the bearings are cheap, if your a particular sort, or the barings are unknown this is the way to go.

bga is an aftermarket supplier, they may work just fine but there will be small machining differences to the OE lifters. BGA only list this lifter for the kv6, I wouldnt have a hesiation running them...
