I use the standard Rover gear stick and linkages, shortened to fit.

Loads of people driven it and not had a single complaint.

You will find one of those easier to get hold of. :)

The only difference in the turbo engine is the con rods.

I have a block from a 1.4 or a 1.8 which I could split.
