If you are running the 143, MEMS 2, ECU then it's not currently remappable. It's a set program on the chip and is not able to access it externally. I have the same so looked into this many times....

Tidied up the boot. Everything is now bolted in correctly. Wiring is tied up out of the way. It was trailing across the boot for the first 8 years on the road and annoyed me...

The vertical upright you say on the bulkhead did touch my frame. A gentle persuasive tap with the lump hammer got the frame in place but was tight.
