New injectors arrived today, fitted them but not driven in yet but already the idle is much smoother and it even sounds better

i've experimented with exhausts a lot and found that for a vvc 2" bore is just about right, sticking to 2" rather than 2.5" or bigger will help reduce noise. A straight through silencer will flow...

that torque curve looks wrong, on the vvc it should be a lot flatter. either the dyno isn't great of there's something wrong (cam timing, sensor etc, plugs etc).
I wouldn't pay too much attention...

I'm not worried about saving loads of weight, i was only really looking into this as my exhaust system is heavier than most due to it having extra large boxes etc. I could fit a single (smaller) box...

With all the ti/alloy/carbon parts now available for minis I'm surprised no one makes a lightweight exhaust. I might have found an affordable solution, will update when I have more info.

titanium exhaust

my maniflow twin box exhaust is quite heavy due to the extra large boxes etc although it does flow well and sounds good. this got me thinking if there are lightweight alternatives. A bit of googling...

the genuine knuckle joints have a flat on the bottom - it's somewhere for the grease to sit. always get genuine (or unipart/delphi) knuckles if you can, the cups last much longer.
