I bought the Team Green versions of those and planned to fit into the Mini's GM auto boxes, spent ages researching and if those are a standard strength stainless steel they are going to fail really...

Thanks for the replies, we have a corner plot (can fit prob 7 or 8 cars on the drive as it goes down the side too) so the ramp would be down the side of the house not on the front but still visible...

The problem is that even cutting a small hole for the gearbox connector shaft or drilling some extra holes for shifter cables, tubbing the arches means an IVA as the 5 points means totally original...

Also there may be issues with the transmission running backwards as the helical gears are probably designed for main load in one direction or if you were looking at auto then the issues with pumps...

I think there will be problems with oil pump flow that would need to be sorted too but a dry sump kit with external electric oil pump may do that.
