B16 is the best option for this application as far as I'm concerned, it will rev much much higher and doesn't produce to much torque. Think of it like a motorbike they have low torque high revving...

The plan was to make one but he sourced one from somewhere, it wasn't a Mini box, it was off a titanium system from another car. It was amazingly light!

It depends how you are going to use the car, for me I want it as easy as possible to drive so thats why I fitted a servo. If I was to do it again I would fit a COP kit which I am doing at the minute...

I think a longer boot would work better, I tried pulling them but they go back to the grove on the drive shaft after a couple of turns. I think it's the type of rubber that's causing the issue.
