micra/carb modle,
 
tryde serch and even micra forums (from outside) so couldent ask,
plus i dont need to coz someone hear will know,
1.3 16v micras> do the exsist on carb and dizzy?
any have more b,h,p? i want to buy a micra as a cheep run around but prefure carb rather than ecu/injectathon lol
i saw one parked up the other day it was on S reg,
what age is best? i dont mind but hope if carb i may need a year target for e,bay

You need an early K10, later ones had an "electronically controlled carburettor" All K11's are multipoint fuel injection.

thanks, good info there in a nut shell,
so the 1 ltr is sort of carb, im thinking long term after road use and need to stick to 1.3 only as if i want to mess about it just as well be with the 1.3,
is ther a simple package the will work the spark plugs off the timeing cam/pully,ect, yes simple!! lol,

There are a few carbed CG13 engines about, most in Mini's. I don't know the ins and outs of what is required though.

I'd just leave one fuel-injection and just put fuel in. A 1998-99 3-door 1.3 with power-steering and no sunroof should do the trick.

i saw it on my google travels,, and other similar claims,, all good work though!!
lost photos took the sting out of the ring though.
i just feel the nissan 1.3 16v can be tweaked up to the much sort after and older suzy swift motor, that motor is gone now> as a resinable(pick one up cheep and good) slim pickings!!!
so in my opinion the injection is the main restriction on the micra 1.3,
so to run a pair of 40 weber d,c,o,e it needs a spark to plugs fromsome where,
like most of this stuff realy, and your piont about just put petrol in a micra is a good one>it would be easyer, and you know me/it,
but if it aint mini shaped,i aint into it,lol

If you wanted to run carbs off an injection engine, maybe H&H ignition can sort you out? There the lads that do that kit for the xe, sure they do for other engines Aswell. Worth a look

Yes Ljones has his build on here, bike carbs and a simple ignition kit.

K11 shape inspired by the Mini, a K11 is more Mini than a BMW Mini really :p

It's more a case of the biggest restriction being the manifolds, not the fuel injection. 90 to 95 hp should be possible from a CG13 with better manifolds and no other changes.

Matt gets some good results from his engines, this a 1348 cc motor

Yep that's my build but thanks to photobucket the thread is ruined.

Yamaha carbs and megajolt, it worked really well but in the end I swapped to ITB's for easier tunning

aint that true about the micra being closer to a mini than the bmw!
i have never driven one so cant say but looking through reports,, thats the worst thing lol
"pregnant whale" made me laff, handeling,micra,
so anyway it has to be in a mini,
seems from pics that the ex many is in smae place as mini? thats a pain but cant have it all ,
and the thing is>as you say>its the manifolds not the fuel injection thats the problem,, just me but if its petrol injected it comes with a whole load of wires and ecu that i cant deal with!! and thats a fess up on hear,:-?
bike carbs are Shit and injection is limated too, just coz the ecu,ect,

i went through as much as i could boyo, as you say photoFucket doshed the bosh!
i see you went for bike carbs but like most >they just want it to run!
after that your screwed with any easy fiddling,
did you end up at 13.50 cc,? just a qwestion and not a qweery but how come you didnt go to 1.4 ish? or stroked and shorter pistons ect? into 1.6 land?
probably the same as stretching the A to next to useless land and price per bang, when it turns out to bang sooner trhan you thought and yes it dawns on us> did i fooking pay for that, lol,

Now I'm getting the impression the cheap run around is in fact a Mini with the Micra engine in, rather than the actual Micra ??

Exhaust manifold is at the front of course :confused: and they handle quite well with just slightly lower and stiffer springs.

hands up! i found my self doing 100 miles a day and my c2 vts is fun but steals petrol and is out of tax just,
my pug 206 hdi 1.4 cost nowt to tax and is good on derv but aint exsighting me,
i need a baby to punish lol, so rite now i need to justify it to myself,
yes manifold, of cource, i looked at pic obouve on laptop in sun i couldent see pic verry well,
so yes micra to test the good reving lump,
its a good road at 1 a.m junk 27 m5 to barnstaple, red line

It needed a rebore so went down the corsa piston route which took it up to 1356cc iirc. Had no intention on going bigger bore etc it's just the way it happened with the corsa pistons

thats clear thanks, i didnt go through them at the time due to p,bucket nonsence but now see that your album still works, just off for 1 moment, how do they still work?
