Noob

Hi all, just joined after picking up my first mini today '75 clkubman 1100 project. Will ad some pics of the carnage when I get some daylight! Lot of cut and stick but it came with new panels for all that needs doing, winner. Will be looking at flip fronting it before deciding on a suitable engine swap! See you around!

peekaboo clubmanmark,
your choice of name is a clue to your clubman fettish> is it not?
being a long nose its good for this kinda thing, good choice bud,
do you want to fill in your location? dont have to but gives a chance to dog with fellow
mini massures in your part of the jungel,
look forward to your chutney carrnage,

Well done Mark for choosing an ideal Mini. Mint ones are not really suitable for engine swaps as the value is more as standard.

Like Shaun says, filling in the profile helps a lot with post as answering questions when we don't even know which country you are in, is difficult.

Keep us posted. :)

Do you have an engine choice in mind?

I am biased towards the Rover as they are cheap and plentiful with a load of us on here having similar conversions, there is someone around to help if you get stuck.

The main question when choosing is what are you going to use the Mini for once it's done. This will mean getting the gearing, brakes and suspension setup you want.

Have you had any experience with a 16v Mini before? If not, visiting someone with one is going to be a great start for you.

Image isn't working. You need to upload the image to a host. I use photobucket.com. Then click the IMG link on the photo. This copies it and then you can paste it into a post.
