If you have a Classic Mini (1959 2000) or a Classic Mini silhouette with any engine combination front or rear wheel drive including motorbike engines and would like to go racing then you have come to the right place. We (LynxAE) have been working with the BRSCC to create a race series where any Classic Mini or Classic Mini silhouette can go racing.

This year we are kicking this race series off with a double header (2 races) race meeting at Cadwell Park in Sept (date to be advised). This race will be treated as an anything goes race, no classes just have fun with no pressure. For this race to go ahead we need a minimum of 15 interested people to pay a 50 deposit to the Roger Tello BRSCC. This needs to be achieved before the middle of February 2015. Race entry form is available from Roger Tello BRSCC. Membership of the BRSCC is not required.

If the BRSCC decide not to run the race then the deposits will be refunded. However if you decide not to attend then the deposit will not be refunded.
If the interest is sufficient and the race can go ahead then next year more races will be added and classes can be decided.

Deposits can be made to Roger Tello BRSCC Tel: 07850 883303

Please pass this on to as many people as you know who may be interested.

Why not join then group Classic Mini Racing - any thing goes

Thanks for sharing this, very intersted and I am very tempted but can't seem to see mention of total cost?

Is there any more information on this? I just need to try and figure out if its out of my leauge, or completley out of my leauge.

Do I need to have some kind of race licence to enter this?

Would my car have to adhere to any kind of race standard or have to pass scrutenering? I understand a sound test will have to be passed.

Would be really interested in having a go but am currently concerned I would be well underexperienced to have a go myself (which is probably the case).

I too could be interested. I love Cadwell, it's brilliant for us Mini's. :D

Not sure on two counts. First it is the only fixed date I have for a Mini event this year (the Dales run) which I've attended for the last 5-6 years.

Next, although I've done 2 track days I have never been racing.
